How do I find the Federal Ministry of Justice at Mohrenstrasse 37, 10117 Berlin?
Using public transportation:
- If you arrive by train at Berlin Ostbahnhof (Berlin East), you may take any S-Bahn travelling in the direction of the city centre. Travel to the Alexanderplatz station and transfer there to the U-Bahn line U2 (direction Ruhleben). Take the U2 to the Hausvogteiplatz station. Exit the station going opposite the direction of travel. The Federal Ministry of Justice is to the right.
- If you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), take any S-Bahn travelling east. Travel to the Alexanderplatz station and transfer there to the U-Bahn line U2 (direction Ruhleben). From the Airport:
- From Tegel Airport, take the X9 bus in the direction of Zoologischer Garten. Exit the bus at Ernst-Reuter-Platz, and transfer to U-Bahn line U2 (direction Pankow).Take the U2 to the Hausvogteiplatz station. Exit the station going opposite the direction of travel. The Federal Ministry of Justice is to the right.
- From Tempelhof Airport, take bus number 104 in the direction of Berliner Strasse or Neu-Westend. Exit the bus at Platz der Luftbrücke and transfer to U-Bahn line U6 (direction Kurt-Schumacher-Platz). Take the U6 to the Stadtmitte station. At the Stadtmitte station, transfer to U-Bahn line U2 (direction Pankow) and exit at Hausvogteiplatz. Exit the station in the direction of travel. The Federal Ministry of Justice is to the right.
- From Schönefeld Airport, take the Airport Express train to Alexanderplatz. At Alexanderplatz, take U-Bahn Line U2 (direction Ruhleben) and exit at Hausvogteiplatz. Exit the station going opposite the direction of travel. The Federal Ministry of Justice is to the right.
By Car:
- On the A9 motorway from the direction of Leipzig, change to the A10 motorway at the Potsdam motorway junction. Exit the A10 at motorway junction Nuthetal and change to the A115 motorway in the direction of Berlin-Zentrum. At the motorway junction Funkturm, change to the A100 motorway and exit at Kaiserdamm. Take the B2/B5 in the direction of Berlin-Mitte, then the B1 in the direction of Potsdamer Platz. After approximately 1.5 kilometres, turn right onto Markgrafenstrasse. Take Markgrafenstrasse for approximately 200 metres and turn right onto Mohrenstrasse. The Federal Ministry of Justice is located at the end of Mohrenstrasse.
- On the A24 motorway from the direction of Hamburg, change at the Oranienburg motorway junction to the A111 motorway in the direction of Berlin-Zentrum (Zoo). In Heiligensee, the A111 changes into the B111. At the motorway intersection Reinickendorf, take the A105 in the direction of Eichborndamm and exit the motorway at Kurt-Schuhmacher-Damm in the direction of Wedding. Follow the signs to Mitte until you reach Friedrichstrasse. Take Friedrichstrasse for approximately two kilometres, then turn left onto Mohrenstrasse, where you will find the Federal Ministry of Justice after approximately 500 metres.
